Woolly West Fest

The Woolly West Fest showcases the many creative things that can be done with wool and is held all over the Grampians Region every year.

Founded in 2014, the Woolly West Fest uses wool, the Grampians’ greatest natural resource, to run the biggest community arts project in Victoria.

Woolly West Fest – 2018 Dates, Hamilton & Dunkeld Grampians Victoria

There are plenty of ways to get involved in the Wooly West Fest and many towns that are taking part. The main events will be held in Hamilton as well as Dunkeld, Byaduk, Glenthompson, Tarrington, Balmoral and Yulecart.

The festival runs over two weeks with a number of displays, exhibitions and workshops. Community groups and local schools get involved by creating works of art and displaying them all over town. Join in on the adopt-a-lamp-post or tree and help beautify the town, or get involved in some cross-stitch, knitting or needlework.

Get in touch with the organisers and see how you can contribute, or just head over to the Grampians and check out the great work being done by local contributors. You can find the Wooly West Fest Program online here.
