Visitors to the picturesque town of Hamilton often come here on cycling tours, this is because of the scenic bike tracks that stretch over the landscape. Enthusiastic cyclists can take the 10 km cycle track from Hamilton to Tarrington and enjoy the scenic views along the way.

Another iconic part of this town is the local Lutheran school, St. Michaels. This school is the oldest of its kind in the country and was constructed more than a century ago.
