Central Park

Central Park is an oval in Stawell; best known for being home to the famous Stawell Gift foot race at Easter.

It is conveniently located in the heart of the town, surrounded by beautiful gardens, grassy areas, and trees.

The oval is equipped with netball courts as well, while the surrounding areas can be hired through the online booking process of the Council.

The park has hosted numerous legendary sporting events, though the best time to visit is in Easter as the town comes alive with tourists who visit for the famous Stawell Gift.

The park is well-maintained throughout the year and is a terrific spot to watch local football and netball games. Several cricket games are also held here.

History buffs may be interested in the buildings around the oval, which have been built before the 1900s.
