Cato Park

Cato Park is located right in the heart of Stawell, and is one of the most popular recreational spots in the region.

The park forms part of the beautiful surroundings of the Cato Lake, has a children’s playground and plenty of grassy areas to sit and enjoy a picnic.

Built to offer excellent recreational space, the park features a number of amenities designed to offer an unforgettable trip. There is ample seating space with picnic tables, BBQ’s, sheltered areas, drinking fountains and toilets.

There are numerous walking trails which will take you around the lake and make sure to keep an eye out for ducks and black swans that call the lake home.

The children’s playground has heaps to keep the little ones occupied including; a spiral slide, ladders, bridge, tunnel, steering wheel, abacus, monkey bars, flying fox, see-saw and swings.

So bring along your family or friends for a fun day out in this beautiful park. Whilst visiting Stawell, make sure to check out the Stawell Gold Mine, the Stawell Arboretum and Bunjils Shelter which is located just out of town.
