The owners, Pep and Adam Atchison, began their journey in 2014. After shopping around for wineries, they came across this property and found it to be perfect for their beer and wine business. True to their commitment to support local, all the food offered here, and even the materials used, are locally sourced.

To truly take in the spectacular beauty of the location, it’s highly recommended to book a night at the Mt Cassel Villa. Perched among the Pomonal Estate’s grapevines, the villa promises luxurious accommodation ideal for couples or families. It’s just a short walk from the winery’s’ cellar door, microbrewery, and cafe. Meanwhile, Halls Gap is just a 10-minute drive away.

When it comes to wines, the estate is best known for their Riesling and Shiraz, the perfect companions for soaking up the picturesque environment. All the wines, ciders, and beers are delicious – there is something for everyone here.

You won’t run out of food to sample, either: from homemade cakes to cheese and much more, a visit to Pomonal Estate is a treat for the senses.
