The Presbyterian Church of Australia was established on July 1901 to serve as the primary Presbyterian denomination and to continue with the Free Church of Scotland and the Church of Scotland. The Church accepts the Old and New Testament Scriptures as the only standard, as well as the rule of faith. They also accept the Westminster Confession of Faith, though slight adjustments have been made.

Additionally, they believe that the Bible is infallible and inerrant. The understanding of the Scriptures is always governed by historical setting, grammar, and theology. They are committed to true-to-the-Bible theology, which is also what is taught in their Presbyterian Theological College (PTC).

It is the goal of the Presbyterian Church of Victoria to create opportunities allowing people of all ages to learn about the good news of Jesus Christ while teaching them how to be effective followers. This is done through prayer, fellowship, Bible study, and service to others.

The St Andrews Presbyterian Church is located at 21 McIntyre St in Hamilton, Victoria.
