The Hamilton Pastoral Museum Open Weekend is one of the many anticipated events of the museum.

The open weekend, which takes place on the first weekend of January each year, allows visitors to see the museum’s collection of farm equipment and machinery in action, as well as participate in exciting activities.

Some of the highlights include vintage tractor pulls, vintage stationary engines, classic and vintage trucks, a blacksmith workshop, Hamilton woodturners, military history demonstrations, open displays, vintage cars, and many more.

The kids can look forward to train rides and other fun games that they can play to their heart’s content. Visitors of all ages will get to learn new things about Hamilton’s pastoral heritage, as well as the numerous machines that were used in the past.

Food and drink will also be on offer all day at the Hamilton Pastoral Museum.

The Hamilton Pastoral Museum is home to many other agricultural gems on display. Some of the historical buildings found here include St Luke’s Church, National Bank, Cottage, Byaduk Automatic Exchange, Warrayure School Rotunda, Myaring Woolshed, and much more.
