Due to the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) throughout Australia and the resulting restrictions imposed by the Federal and State governments, Grampians Film Society has been temporarily closed until further notice. We will keep you up to date any developments and please stay safe.
Apart from its natural beauty, the Grampians is also known as an art and cultural hub which draws thousands of visitors each year.
The Grampians hosts a wide variety of film festivals, art exhibitions and cultural festivals and the Grampians Film Society, in collaboration with Halls Gap Film Society, manages and hosts most of these events.

Visitors attending some of these events will get a chance to see some archived videos of the Grampians taken during the early 1900s. Also, watch an array of shows boasting depicting the history of film art in Australia.
Events organised by the Grampians Film Society are often held at the Halls Gap Community Hall. Visitors interested in attending such events can browse through the film society’s website and check out the current event calendar.
If signing up for an annual membership with the film society, you will be entitled to attend the 11 films that are screened each year between January and November. Generally held on the fourth Wednesday of the month, with pre-drinks and nibbles from 7.00pm and the film commencing at 7.30pm. A social supper is hosted after each film.
