Several religious places of worship around the Grampians are worth visiting as they speak volumes about its history, but are also unique for their architectural features.

Saint Mary’s Catholic Church is the primary place of worship for Hamilton’s Catholics. However, it is also renowned for its stunning architecture and design. The church opened to the public in August 1866, and some of its most notable design elements include sandstone dressings featuring Mt Sturgeon. Others include its etiolated windows and the steep apse.

St Joseph’s Church, the second Catholic Church established in Coleraine, was initially built in the 1860s. Its original location was right on the corner of Winter and Church streets. Among the Grampians Churches, St Joseph’s Church is famed for its beautiful Gothic revival design, using red bricks and cement. It also has several memorials.

Aside from striking architecture, these Grampians churches welcome everyone to come for worship. They offer various ministries so that all faithful can get participate. The Horsham Church of Christ offers Crafty Friends, Edge Youth, Mainly Music, and prayer groups. They also have a family room and stroller-friendly facilities.
