The St Arnaud Racecourse is a small yet significant racecourse. It features a track that is 1,600 meters long as well as a 400-meter home straight. The best time to visit is during late October, which is when the St Arnaud Cup Day is held. The racing fun is almost palpable in the air, with catered food, bar facilities, and excellent music for the enjoyment of all.

The St Arnaud Regional Park is a popular destination for residents and is open to travellers as well. Once you get here, you’ll be treated to panoramic town views. It’s an excellent place to start your exploration of town as you’ll be in easy access to several walking and riding tracks, an old mining site, forest, Bakery Hill, a former reservoir, and much more.

No visit to St Arnaud would be complete without a stopover at the Queen Mary Gardens. These beautifully landscaped gardens are located within the old gold mining centre. Established in the late 19th century, Queen Mary Gardens are well-maintained and invite you to take a respite from the city in its lush, vibrant environment.

Lord Nelson Park is a community park that is equipped with recreational facilities for the public. These include a netball court, a pavilion, and oval so that all can enjoy a day full of fitness, sports, and fun.
