Haven Recreation Reserve

Haven Recreation Reserve is a family-friendly outdoor venue servicing the communities in and around Horsham Rural City in Haven.

It features numerous sports and play facilities including a basketball court, tennis courts, lawns, barbecue facilities, and a playground for kids.

The reserve is managed by the Haven Recreation Reserve Advisory Committee, who has envisioned the venue to be a one-stop-shop for sports and recreations, providing activities for all ages and abilities. The lawns and playing fields are well-maintained throughout the year, making it the ideal venue for numerous field sports.

The committee also welcomes coaches and volunteers who have experience teaching any sport, to come on board and create programs for kids and families. Being able to provide more sports events gives the committee a better chance to earn funds for maintenance and upkeep.

Families are welcome to visit the reserve for a day of fun and fitness for all ages. The spaces can also be booked for special occasions and events, while the Haven Market is held monthly on the premises throughout the year.

Sports that are commonly played at the reserve include netball, tennis, cricket, football, soccer, hockey, softball, and basketball.
