Stawell Railway Station Gallery, Artists, Paintings, Address & Hours, VIC

Many notable local artists’ work is featured in the gallery. These include Ian Holwell, Judy McPhee, Jill Skelley, Val Potter, Phil Eustace, Verne Simmons, and many more. This is also a great place to see some beautiful indigenous works of art.

It’s also good to note that the gallery is located alongside the Stawell railway station; an iconic and historical attraction. It was built in 1877, originally for the purpose of extending the Serviceton line which came from Ararat. The art gallery opened in March of 1995, as one of the many enhancements to attract more tourists to the station.

The Railway Station Art Gallery is located at 2 Napier Street in Stawell, Victoria. It is open on Fridays through Sundays, from 10am to 4pm.
