Stawell Trotting Track

The Stawell Trotting Track (also referred to as the Stawell Harness Racing Club) is located on Patrick Street in Stawell, a 3 hour drive from Melbourne. The Stawell Harness Racing Club was established in 1956 and its events have since grown to become some of the biggest tourist drawcards to the Grampians Region.

The Stawell Trotting Track offers racing events, dining facilities as well as function rooms for weddings or corporate events.

The Stawell Harness Racing Club conducts 10 race meetings throughout the year. In July each year the club holds the ‘Maori Legend’ in honour of past local Champion Trotter, Maori Idol.

The Club also holds several feature races during the year which honour past contributors of this great Club. In December each year the Club holds it’s cup race meeting as part of the Country Cups Carnival. The Cup Carnival is usually held in December each year.
