In fact, so close is the sheep farm that as you wind down the driveway and along the paddocks, you cannot help but marvel at the sheer expanse of the farm. Look out for the gallery cottage that will be located to your right.
Once you set foot in the gallery, you will be able to enjoy the warmth and ambience of the gallery. Walking through the doors, visitors are welcomed by original works of art that adorn the walls. All round the charming gallery are unique originals and prints that showcase the region’s biodiversity. The gallery’s main niche is botanical art, so expect to see the best of Australia’s native trees and plants.
The gallery at the cottage is divided into different rooms, and each of the rooms displays a set of works. In addition, there is a wide array of vibrantly coloured gift cards and other souvenirs available for sale.
The Dower House Gallery is open by appointment. To get to the gallery, Caramut Road in Glenthompson and look out for signage that leads up to the expansive sheep farm and onto the driveway.
