The Horsham Agricultural Show attracts competitors from all over Australia. The show is held each year at the Horsham Showgrounds and is ideal for families as it offers numerous activities for kids.

Horsham Agricultural Show, 2024 Dates, Program & Tickets, Victoria
Opening on Friday night with the sideshow alley & showbags, and then on Saturday will be a full program of events, including rides, showbags, competitions and exhibitions, until 10pm.
A new element of the Show will be the Ag Show After Party, hosted on the newly refurbished Cattle Arena, hosting live music, a licensed bar from 6pm, a fire-breather and fireworks set to go off at 8:30pm.
There will also be shearing, wool handling, miniature goat competitions, yard dog trial, an animal nursery in the new look Stable Four, art & craft workshops for kids, a floral design and wine workshop for adults, wine & gin tastings and sales in Stable One, the agricultural playground, new maze and so much more!
Plenty of food and drink will be on-site, so you can spend the whole day enjoying the show! The Horsham Agricultural Show is the perfect place to spend some family time outdoors to visit Horsham in the beautiful Grampians region and learn more about regional Victoria.

How long are the rides on at Horsham show

Here is the show schedule. I take this to mean that the rides are only there on the Eve of the Show on 30 September 2017:
“The 139th Grand Annual Horsham Show will open a restricted area with a twilight riverfront-only carnival on Saturday, September 30 on the eve of the traditional Show day.
On Sunday, October 1 from 10am – 10pm the traditional ag show competitions and major entertainment attractions will be on display. Fireworks will be at approximately 8.30pm. A highlight will be our new retro-style licensed food court area and the opening of The Cattle Shed.
On Monday, October 2nd from noon – 7pm, we encourage families to come down and take part our Big Family Fun Day. Our major entertainment will be back with the Rooftop Express Show, Sideshow Alley and McDonald’s Animal Nursery.
The Horse Show will be on Tuesday October 3 and Wednesday October 4, making the Horsham Agricultural Show a 4 ½ day event.”
