For visitors making the road trip, Jaypex Park is a great place to stop for a comfortable break with the whole family. Amenities include toilets, a baby change area, and barbecue facilities. If you prefer to go out for a walk, check out the boardwalk located across the swamp, which will take you to a bird hide or the lake.

Nearby is the Nhill Swamp Wildlife Reserve, which features three walks for visitors including kids to explore the sights. The Birdhide Walk is the shortest of these at 600 meters long, taking around just 20 minutes. It leads you to a bird hide where you can relax and take in the views.
