The Mount Difficult Range in the Grampians is located between the scenic township of Halls Gap and Roses Gap, also housing the popular Wartook Reservoir. Known for its high terrain with unusual rock formations and cliffs, Mount Difficult offers a number of hiking and excellent rock-climbing opportunity for visitors.

Mount Difficult boasts very high and overhanging cliffs; therefore rock climbing on this mountain is very challenging for all skill levels.

Many day-trippers come here on a driving tour to explore the area’s scenic attractions and picturesque rugged landscape.

Whilst in the Grampians, visit the nearby MacKenzie Falls with your friends and family. The site boasts a serene setting with many amenities, such as a car park, nearby toilets and drinking water. Visitors can take one of the walking tracks and watch the wildlife as they walk down to the rock pools at the base of the MacKenzie Falls.
