For those looking for fitness activities, check out the Dimboola Recreation Reserve. This is where you’ll find several sports facilities including a stadium, oval, rowing facilities, and a tennis court.

Families enjoy relaxing and picnicking at Apex Park, which is also where you’ll find an old steam locomotive. If you’re more of an outdoor lover, don’t miss the Wimmera River, which is lined with majestic red gum trees, as well as walking tracks. There are boating and fishing spots located in different parts of the river.

The Little Desert National Park nearby is not to be missed; especially for 4WD enthusiasts. It’s the ideal area for long 4WD trips, and there are plenty of camping spots all throughout. The Little Desert National Park is highly recommended for visitors looking for a little adventure, and to get away from it all in a beautiful location. However, even if you don’t drive 4WD, you can also do a walk in the Little Desert.

Horseshoe Bend is another popular attraction, especially for campers. Situated along the banks of the Wimmera River, this makes a scenic camping spot. Other things to do in Dimboola include the Keith Hateley Nature Walk, Pomponderoo Hill Lookout, and the Wail State Forest.
